About Me

Hey! I’m Evonne, a final-semester student at The University of Queensland (UQ) and the Director of Web Development at Newish Communications, where we create thoughtful, user-focused digital experiences. From crafting intuitive interfaces to building engaging websites, I love turning ideas into products people enjoy using.

As a designer, I’m passionate about UX/UI and constantly curious about how design can make experiences simpler, more meaningful, and maybe even a little delightful. I enjoy solving problems visually and digitally, always thinking about how users interact with what we create.

My approach combines user research, creative thinking, and attention to detail to craft interfaces that are both pretty and functional.

My Design Philosophy

I believe great design is invisible. It should feel natural, guide users effortlessly, and solve problems before they arise. Every pixel, every interaction, and every decision should serve the user’s needs.

As a student, I’m constantly learning and pushing myself to explore new approaches to design challenges. I’m excited about the intersection of aesthetics and functionality, and I strive to create experiences that are both beautiful and purposeful.
